Clinical Consultation and Supervision

I provide clinical consultation and supervision to therapists, whether the focus is a particular case, questions of technique, or building and sustaining a practice.

I’m especially interested in therapists’ own reactions to the people they work with. All of them, including the uncomfortable ones, tell us something useful. I regard countertransference not as something to be corrected but as one of the richest sources of clinical information available to us. It can point toward what clients are communicating without words, often without conscious awareness, and toward the ways they have learned to relate to others. In consultation, I want clinicians to feel free to bring everything this work stirs up, including what is hardest to say.

Consultation and supervision are available individually or in a small group, in person or remotely.
